IN HIS OWN WORDS

Chivas USA: With the Chivas name you get 100 years of tradition in Mexico of a team that’s done really well, so to play for the USA version of that is an honor. Our fans lift us up a lot, and Chivas really shows in the style of soccer we play.
Film: Probably “Crash”. I majored in sociology and we watched it for one of my classes and I kind of fell in love with the ideas behind it.
Food: Sushi. I recently started eating it and now me and my girlfriend go to as many sushi places as we can find.
Off the field: I started playing the guitar about a year and a half ago and I’m all right, not close to where I want to be yet, but now that I have a house I can start focusing on that because I’ll be alone a lot more.
